Login Pages

Updated

A login page is what viewers see before they can watch a channel that requires login. It lets you limit your channel to specific audiences, such as members, staff, subscribers or event attendees.

Turning On Login for a Channel

You can require login when you first create a channel:

  1. In Step 1: Name & Features of the channel setup guide, select Require login.
  2. In Step 2: Layout, choose your login experience.

See How to Create a Channel for the full walkthrough.

Login Options

  • Default: Viewers create an account or sign in with their email and password.
  • Password only: Viewers enter a single shared password to access the channel. Great for simple, private events.

  • Email only: Viewers sign in with their email address.
  • Single Sign-On (SSO): Viewers sign in through your organization's identity provider. Contact your Account Manager to learn more.

Controlling Who Has Access

Login pages work together with Viewer Segments, which are groups of viewers you can give access to specific channels or content.
